Good day Tom,

The complete list of references use for the exam can be found within the Candidate Information Bulletin (CIB) which is a free download from the ISC2 web site.

Currently there is about 100 different references use for the whole CBK and exam questions. The study books are mostly a resume of those references. Reading all of the references would be impossible as far as time consumption is concerned.

ISC2 also take for granted that you have 5 years of experience, so you will get questions that are general knowledge questions even thou they might not be listed witnin the official study guide.

Best of luck
Hello all,
I'm preparing for the CISSP exam on Feb 20 in Boston. Amoung other
resources, I've been using the very good online quizzes at CCCure (many
thanks for making this and other resources available). I've noticed that
frequently the sample questions test on knowledge outside the CBK as
contained in the ISC2 guide. In the answer explanations other references
are cited. Might I expect the exam to include this "extra-curricular"
content? Thanks for any light folks may be able to shed on the question.
