<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I just received an email from the ISC2 registrar that I passed the exam. I appreciate the advice and tips that Clement and various site members have supplied. I started my studying in mid July and took my test on November 8.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>My study plan:<BR><BR>I put together a spreadsheet with a detailed plan of what material I needed to cover and systemmatically attacked it. A template spreadsheet is attached for anyone that may find it valuable. It helped me stay on track and cover all my material. I created 10 sets of index card decks of the more difficult concepts or facts from my reading. It's good to review the deck as much as possible...in the supermarket line...at the Dr's office and any time you find yourself just waiting.</DIV>

<DIV>This may be overkill, but these are the texts that I used in the order of imporatance:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>1) I read the Shon Harris All-in-One twice thoroughly. And, when something wasn't crystal clear, I used Wikipedia (don't forget to hilite and make index cards).</DIV>
<DIV>2) I thoroughly read "CISSP and CAP Prep Guide" by Krutz and did the questions on the CD.</DIV>
<DIV>3) I thoroughly read Mike Meyers' Passport and did the questions. This book is a bit outdated and hard to find (try your library), but gives an excellent review.</DIV>
<DIV>4) I thoroughly read the CISSP for Dummies and did all of the questions on the CD</DIV>
<DIV>5) I also completed all of the question in the "Exam Cram 2" questions book.</DIV>
<DIV>6) I skimmed the ISC2 book; it was difficult to sit and just read through, as many have stated.</DIV>
<DIV>7) I did the questions on the CCCure site. I must say that I didn't do as well with these questions as I on the other tests from the various CD's.</DIV>
