Good day Ali and All,<br><br>This is a great tip that I strongly recommend in all of my classes and also in my very detailed flash presentation on how to become a CISSP (Two hours in length).<br><br>I always recommend that you walk through the whole exam once as a starter. Answer all the questions that you know for sure first. If you ran into a question you DON'T KNOW just skip that question and go to the next. By doing this you will most likely answer 50% of the questions knowing they have the right answer. This will build your confidence and as you walk through you will also find answers to previous questions you could not answer.<br>
<br>After walking through once, go back and start at the beginning again. This time pay very careful attention to the question, read it completely, do eliminate the choices that do not make sense. In most case you should be able to bring it down to two choices, you must find the BEST of the two choices.<br>
<br>As it was also mentioned in the thread, do time yourself carefully, never waste minutes on a single question, if you have difficulty mark it for later review.<br><br>Best of luck<br><br>Clement<br><br clear="all"> <br>

Phil, <br><br>one tip for you before the exam, i took that exam in dec 20th 2008, and failed it.<br>my mistake was i spent too much time on scenario based questions and they kept popping up as i started my exam, when i reached at 70% of my exam it was almost 90 mins left on my watch, my brain was exhausted couldn't focus on pretty strait forward question and started to guess and that lead me to fail the exam. So please relax and skip that you dont understand in first time, exam is not that hard but 250 question in one shot is hard, build your stamina practicing 250 test questions in one sitting.<br>

1) Is it reliable? I mean are the questions/answers correct?<br>
2) Are the questions similar to the expected on the real exam? In topics,
difficulty, lenght, etc?<br>
3) In every test that I took, I find some questions (close to 10% every time),
I had no clue about them. Is this "normal" or I shall review these
topics? I use the Shon Harris 4th Edition Book + Shon Harris DVDs and found no
reference to these topics. One example I've seen a lot is many questions about
Magnetic Tapes.<br>
