found was the practice exams! They consolidated the knowledge gained,
highlighted the areas that needed further study and built a level of confidence

I would like to offer one further suggestion to those currently studying for

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><b><font color="blue" face="Arial" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial; color: blue; font-weight: bold;" lang="EN-GB">Forming a local study group</span></font></b><font color="blue" face="Arial"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: blue;" lang="EN-GB">:
This proved a most significant benefit in keeping up a sustained study effort
over a six month period.</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><font color="blue" face="Arial" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial; color: blue;" lang="EN-GB">I used the study group announcement on cccure.org (</span></font><font color="blue" face="Arial"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: blue;">"Study
Group in Yorkshire, UK?") </span></font><font color="blue" face="Arial"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: blue;" lang="EN-GB">to seek anyone in my local area
studying for the CISSP; Just one person (Mark Ellis), responded and we got
together for an initial meeting and decided that we could be supportive of each
other in our study efforts and arranged a weekly Skype video conference
session. We scheduled study time for each of the 10 CBK domains and several
weeks of exam practice, each week we set each other a set of test questions for
the part of the domain we were studying that week.</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><font color="blue" face="Arial" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial; color: blue;" lang="EN-GB"> </span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><font color="blue" face="Arial" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial; color: blue;" lang="EN-GB">The support and encouragement of working closely with someone else
on the CISSP study in this way has been highly motivational and also made such
a massive effort sustained over six months or so, a real pleasure.</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36pt;"><font color="blue" face="Arial" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial; color: blue;" lang="EN-GB"> </span></font></p>
